Privacy

What we keep

• For parents: a link to your sign-in account (your email and password stay with Clerk, our sign-in provider), and the name you give your household.
• For children: a first name, grade and timezone; the assignments, subjects and routines you or they add; which tasks were ticked off and when; and the links you create for their devices or calendars.
• That you agreed to this, and when.

What we don't do

• No advertising, and no selling or renting anyone's data.
• No profiles of children for anything other than their study plan.
• Children can't create accounts. A parent adds them and decides which devices can open their plan.

Who else handles it

Only the services that run the app: Clerk (sign-in), Neon (the database, in the US) and Cloudflare (hosting). They process data on our behalf and for nothing else.

How it's protected

Every family's data sits behind database rules that stop one family's account from ever reading another's. Device links are stored scrambled, so not even we can read them back, and any parent of the child can switch one off.

Your choices

• From the family screen, download each child's plan as a JSON file. It includes subjects, routines, work (including completed and deleted work), ticks, badges, device-link details without secret tokens, and guardians' names.
• Delete a child and their plan for every linked guardian. This permanently removes their work, ticks, badges, device links and pending invites.
• Delete your account and household data. A child with another guardian stays with that guardian; a child for whom you are the last guardian is deleted. The family screen also asks Clerk to delete your sign-in account and tells you if that step fails.
• Withdraw consent at any time. This stops access to the plan until you agree again. Existing data remains until you choose to delete it.
• Create or switch off a private calendar link for each child. Anyone who has the link can see assignment titles and dates until you switch it off. The feed contains no notes or grades.
• If this text changes what we collect or who we share with, we'll ask you again before anything new is kept.
